Summer

School is quickly coming to an end. It's always filled with mixed emotions for me because I am so ready for a break, however I really miss my students -especially the ones heading off to middle school next year. Getting to be with these kiddos from about 2nd grade through 5th grade EVERY DAY builds close relationships. I am proud of their accomplishments and successes. It has been a wonderful school year. HAPPY SUMMER to all!!!!!

Dyslexia Parent Education Meeting

Mesquite ISD will host a parent education meeting for parents with students who are in the MTA dyslexia program. It will be at the Professional Development Center in Mesquite January 27 from 7-8pm.

Wow. November is off to a rainy, cool beginning. Don't ya love the variety of weather we get to experience in Texas.
Life is great. Thanksgiving just around the corner, then Christmas, then the New Year. Take time to enjoy every moment of every day.

ZUMBA

The Mesquite ISD Wellness Aerobics program is proud to announce we will be conducting a Susan G. Komen ZUMBA Fundraiser. Monday, Oct. 25th, Black Elementary School cafeteria, 4:15 - 5:30pm with guest Lori McGinnis team teaching with me. $10. 100% proceeds go to Susan G. Komen breast cancer foundation. Come shake it for the cure!!!!

Aerobics

The first day of the MISD Wellness Aerobics class was fantastic!!! There were about 30 people and they all looked so good in their sweat!!! Way to go. It's never too late to join us. Tomorrow is our Step class. Come on over.

Aerobics

MISD Wellness Aerobics begins this Monday, Sep. 13 at Black Elementary School from 4:15 - 5:15. Monday's class will be a hi-lo aerobics class (sort of like jazzercise). Wed. will be step class, and Thursday is yoga. Looking forward to seeing all wellness members again as well as meeting new members. Spread the word and bring a friend.

2010-2011 school year

Welcome to the 2010-2011 school year. I'm excited to see the growth, progress, and success of my students. I haven't blogged since the summer class I took, so, here I am. Welcome back. Looking forward to seeing how I can use this blog during the school year with parents and teachers.
